✈️ EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with @QatarAirways Traveled from KWI-DOH-CAI on June 2nd and Qatar Airways lost my checked bag. It's been over 4 weeks and no resolution. They gave me a claim number but no follow up. I've emailed and called repeatedly with no real updates or help finding my bag. It's embarrassing to have to beg an airline for basic customer service after they misplaced my property. Not to mention the financial costs to replace everything that was in the bag. As one of the top airlines in the world, I expected better than empty promises and run around. At this point I just want my belongings back or fair compensation. But the lack of concern or accountability shown is unacceptable. Other travelers BEWARE - if your bag goes missing with Qatar, don't expect it to be priority. Learn from my expensive mistake and avoid this airline if you value your bags arriving intact!

Because out of all the airlines I've flown with, it is undoubtedly one of the worst, if not the absolute worst. One terrible experience with Qatar was already too much, but now my girlfriend is enduring an even more dreadful ordeal, and my heart aches for her. She literally has her wallet, only! My girlfriend departed from Auckland to Split on flight QR921. The chaos began in Auckland with a delayed flight, but the true nightmare awaited on the Doha (QR231) to Belgrade flight. A uniformed and identified Qatar Airways employee STOLE her hand luggage, threatening her, saying that she wouldn't be able to board the plane if she didn't surrender the bag. He claimed there was no space for her small 7-kilo bag on the supposedly too-small plane (and he gave no document to confirm taking the bag). When she finally arrived in Split, Croatia, NONE of her bags were there. They made her wait inside the airport for two agonizing hours after more than 24 hours of gruelling travel. We've tried countless times to complete the lost baggage form. Still, every ten minutes it crashes, leaving us in despair, because in the bags are a lot of documents and personal belongings that bring sentimental memories like that of her little puppy. We've reached out by phone and email, but all we've received are empty promises that her bag is en route to Croatia. Yet, we have a tracker on the checked bag showing it's still in Serbia. As for the hand luggage, just God knows where it is because we were never informed it needed to be checked - it was simply stolen. We are left with no choice but to pursue legal action against Qatar Airways. THANK YOU, Qatar, for turning dreams into nightmares!
